ACE client port match fix - 2026-10-09

For the inspected Windows Assetto Corsa EVO 0.9.1+release.6 executable.
This fixes selection of another same-IP server's content data when both ports differ.
Content validation remains enabled. In-game testing has not yet been confirmed.

INSTALL
1. Close the game and extract every file from this ZIP into a folder.
2. Double-click Install.cmd. It checks the original EXE's SHA-256, saves a backup,
installs the fix, and verifies the installed file. Unknown versions are refused.
If Steam uses another library location, enter the game's folder when prompted.
3. If Windows denies access, run Install.cmd as administrator.
4. Launch the game. With both servers running, test joining vanilla and modded servers.

RESTORE
Close the game and run Restore.cmd. Choose the same game folder if prompted.
The backup is AssettoCorsaEVO.before-port-match-fix.exe.bak in the game folder.
The restore script refuses to overwrite an unknown/newer game executable.

MANUAL INSTALL
Use Steam > Manage > Browse local files to find AssettoCorsaEVO.exe.
Before replacing it, use PowerShell in that folder:
  Get-FileHash .\AssettoCorsaEVO.exe -Algorithm SHA256
Only install if the hash is the ORIGINAL hash below. Back up that EXE first.
Then copy the patched AssettoCorsaEVO.exe from this ZIP into the game folder.
Restore your backup to undo the change.

Steam updates or file verification may replace this fix. Do not reapply to an
unsupported build. This is a client EXE, not AssettoCorsaEVOServer.exe.
